Did you know that homebound seniors have been known to go without eating so that their companion pets can eat? Through daily contact with its Meals On Wheels clients, Senior Citizens, Inc. staff and volunteers learned that hunger can become a mutual problem for pets as well as their owners, especially when the owners are homebound.  The Meals on Wheels program of Senior Citizens, Inc. needs your help to collect donations of dry dog and cat food so that seniors and their pets can get the proper nutrition they need.

Please join 98.7 The River and PODS® of Savannah to help. Simply drop off any of these suggested items below at the PODS® Container at Chatham Parkway Subaru (Chatham Parkway adjacent to I-16) beginning September 15th through September 27th, Monday - Saturday 10AM - 6PM.

Your donations will be used by clients of MEALS ON WHEELS to make sure homebound seniors and their pets do not go hungry.
