Hugs After Hurricanes Stuffed Animal Drive SATURDAY

Christina's 6-year old Jenna came up with the idea to do a stuffed animal drive for the victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

"We were in the car headed home from our evacuation and she heard on the radio that thousands were homeless because of the hurricanes. Naturally she had a million questions about it. After answering her questions she asked me if she could help. She said she wanted to give some of her many stuffed animals to children who don't have homes any more. And she wanted help doing so. She said she wants every child to have someone to cuddle because she wants everyone to feel they are loved. (Her words!) We have an event on FaceBook. It is Hugs After Hurricanes Stuffed Animal Drive. We are holding the drive Saturday, September 23, 2017 starting at 10:00am at Cowart Realty (5618 White Bluff Rd, Savannah, GA 31405). We are accepting donations of new/gently used stuffed animals. And any cash/money donations will be donated to disaster relief funds. There will be live music, and we are looking into getting food to be donated to the event. She has her little heart set on helping other children who could use a good cuddle buddy!"

Jenna's mom Christina says:

We also really need donations on our paypal to help with shipping. We are working on getting a possible drop off point in Texas, and we are having individual families reach out to us as well! So if someone can't do stuffed animal donations, any cash proceeds go straight to shipping costs! Contact me on Facebook or by email: Christina Peltier <capeltier89@gmail.com>
