A bipartisan group of senators is planning to meet tomorrow to work out a response to the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Tennessee Senator Bob Corker said it will have teeth and South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham said there is a consensus to suspend arms sales and stop support for the Saudi war in Yemen. The senators hope to come to a quick agreement and get a final vote on the package on Monday. Some senators were briefed on Tuesday by the CIA on the murder and said afterward they believe Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammad bin Salman was involved. The move would not only punish Saudi Arabia but would be a rebuke to the President Trump, who has said often he doesn't want to stop arms sales to the Kingdom.
