The late-GREAT author, political commentator Bill Buckley was brilliant beyond belief and one of his greatest quotes and comebacks came in a debate. The discussion got around to spying and Buckley was standing up for the CIA when his opponent said something to the effect that the CIA and KGB are the "same guys just in different color uniforms." Buckley, cogently replied, "Men who push old ladies in front of buses and men who push old ladies out of the way of buses should not be singularly categorized as 'Men who push old ladies."
The same can be said about enthusiastic campaigners from the Democrat side aginst the Republican side. We did an interview this morning (Wednesday 25 July) with Fox News Contributor and Democrat Strategist Jehmu (pronounced Jah-MOO) Greene who told us that the Democrat voters are really motivated and fired up for their candidates as much as Republicans are about theirs. She's expecting a big turnout from the progressive side indicating that there's no difference in the two except the names on the campaign buttons. The difference between the two, however, is like the difference between shooting a bullet and throwing it.
What have we seen from the left? Riots, anarchy; burning cars--especially police cars--breaking windows of businesses; holding marches down the middle of streets, including interstates; disrupting and destroying businesses; making physical threats just to name a few. Democrat representative Maxine Waters should be under arrest for inciting to riot. In addition to her disgusting "Impeach 45!" ad nauseam cry has exhorted her supporters to get in people's faces if they work for the administration or a politician you don't like and if you see them in a supermarket or gas station, shout them down and tell them they're "not welcome." We've seen the hideous scenes of a restaurant that refused to serve Sarah Sanders because she works for President Trump, Homeland Security Secretary Kristjen Nielsen is shouted at and harassed at a Mexican restaurant in Washington; Pam Bondi, the Attorney General of Florida is out on a date with her boyfriend at a movie and some thugs surround them at the concession stand, intimidating her date and shouting at her and then SPITTING on her! Then there's "Occupy Walnuts" setting up tent cities, blocking rights of way and shutting down some businesses while they stay and stay and the filth builds up, rapes occur and the media thinks they are the most wonderful people in the universe just exercising their First Amendment rights. Disgusting on steroids!
Now let's look at the conservative (sometimes Republican) side. The Tea Parties that were totally grass-roots organizations who were disturbed with the direction Barry Sotoro (a-k-a Barack Obama) was taking the country--like total disregard for the Constitution. What did they do? Held peaceful demonstrations that rarely lasted no more than a few hours and never more than two days. Police and other officials said when the Tea Party(s) left the place was cleaner that when they arrived. No blocking traffic, no physical threats, no boycotting businesses or violence of any kind. And how were they treated by the media??? No mention of them exercising their First Amendment rights and vile remarks saying black citizens were called those evil names and rappers are so fond of. Then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pu-lousy made that accusation but when Andrew Brietbart offered a $100,000 reward for anyone who could produce a video or audio recording of an event, the response was crickets...they've yet to have to write the check.
So buckle your seatbelt and keep looking over your shoulder during this coming campaign--you may be targeted for having the "wrong" bumper sticker or t-shirt. These people are paid thugs and from what we've seen so far, they have no shame and will stop at nothing. Be safe, be vigilant, and be well.
