It seems that a 22-year-old man was not happy with his birthday present. He had asked his parents for a Jaguar but they got him BMW instead. I know you probably feel as I do...how could they have been so callous and uncaring??? So I'm sure you'd do the very same thing to show your folks who's boss and express your displeasure after being shown no respect--push you're car right into the river! That's exactly what this young man did as reported by the Times of Indiana--we have the video here for you. Local authorities in Yamunanagar, India said the incident happened August 10 in the Western Yamuna Canal. Oh it gets worse...turns out this luxury car was purchased using the money his parents had gotten for selling another car in order to purchase it. The official police report said, "He threw away his BMW in a fit of anger." His name is Akash (by gosh!) and the Times of India said, "Akash was demanding for a Jaguar car from his father, but when his father, but when his father failed to buy one, he threw away his BMW in a fit of anger."
Police do say that the parents claimed their son suffers from undisclosed mental health issue--YA THINK!!!??? So officials reportedly don't plan to make an arrest, as no complaints were filed. Sources said that after pushing the car into the canal, Akash made a video and forwarded it to his parents according to the newspaper. However, Akash's father reportedly defended his son denying that he ever "demanded a Jaguar" for his birthday and claiming the incident was an accident. And even though the BMW was white, I'd have been eternally grateful even though I'd trade it in for a Mustang but that's another story!
