Un-Covered

It's not just what the media does cover and, in many cases, spins that story to a left political agenda but what they don't cover is just as important and their ignoring those important stories is just as egregious. The monumental irresponsible media we're now saddled with would have been a work of fiction 50 years ago. When I was studying this at my beloved Ole Miss it was hammered into our heads by professors that YOU were not the story, our opinion was not the issue. As a reporter you are there to report what happened or what's going on, the audience can decide what they think about it. This past weekend yet another story was published in the New York Times on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh with yet another accusation of something that happened back in his high school days. But now the left-wing rag that paints its pages bright yellow on a daily basis now has suddenly revised this supposed bombshell piece in the book Justice on Trial. This revision included a significant detail about another alleged sexual assault; it seems several friends of the "victim" said she had no recollection of the purported sexual assault in question--NONE! And the aforementioned alleged victim has refused to be interviewed about it. And this was not an accident on the part of the NYT either...they're just upset they've been caught lying again!

The only so-called firsthand statement about the attack came out Saturday from someone who said they actually witnessed it..and that came from a--WAIT FOR IT!--a Clinton-connected lawyer. his lawyer is Max Stier who worked as a Clinton defense attorney having legal battles with Kavanaugh during the Watergate investigation. What's so disgusting about this is that the story coincided with the publication of the book! The alleged incident is also reported as something that happened at a "drunken fraternity party." Now, I never joined a fraternity but I heard from highly-reliable sources who stayed sober at them that all sorts of debauchery went on among folks who had no idea the next day they'd done anything wrong because they were too drunk to remember it anyway.

So crap like this gets reported, the Democretin candidates for president jump on the bandwagon before the ink's dry on the published story but other stories are "overlooked." The news producers will give you the lame excuse there's only so much space or time and they just can't cover everything. There is at least an element of truth in that statement but what they don't go on to finish the sentence with is that there are stories they refuse to cover or report if it makes this president look good. It doesn't fit the agenda that he's a "racist" and all the other pejoratives these highly-unqualified Dembulbs who are making the most despicable claims about President Trump. Do you honestly think that someone of the integrity of Dr. Ben Carson, HUD Secretary, would stay in the Trump cabinet one second longer if that were the case? And here's what Deroy Murdock pointed out of Fox News last week about the lamestream media's burying a story.

Murdock is a Fox News Contributor and contributing editor to National Review Online and senior fellow with the London Center for Policy Research. It's also important to point out that Deroy Murdock is black and is incensed over the charges of racism against the president. He says when one asks for specifics their standard fallback position is, "Oh, Charlottesville!" Yet he points out that these people have made no reference to last Tuesday (09-10-19) President Trump went to speak at the Conference of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) in Washington and in a 30-minute presentation and said, among other things, "Every day of my presidency we will strive to give every child of every background and every race, religion and creed the best chance for that beautiful American dream." Sound like the words of a racist to you? The president has opened an office in the White House to tend to the needs of such institutions as Howard University and other HBCU members cancelling the debt of schools in New Orleans that have been struggling ever since Hurricane Katrina years ago. He's worked with companies to establish apprenticeships and asking NASA specifically to recruit students from these schools who are interested in space exploration and that type of science. No racist would spend any time with groups like this and showing concerns for same. And speaking of those who wouldn't spend any time doing something like this...that exactly what ABC, CBS, NBC did--spent ZERO time to covering this event. Not even a mention!

There's a old saying that "silence is golden," and believe me, today's media is 24 karat!
