Bernie Sanders Pauses Campaign, Has Stents Put In

According to the Sanders campaign, the 78 year old senator, Bernie Sanders, had two stents put in last night, Tuesday, October 1st after experiencing chest discomfort during an event held earlier last night. The chest discomfort was discovered to be a blockage in an artery. Due to this procedure Bernie Sanders has cancelled all of his planned campaign events and appearances over the next few days. The Sanders campaign reports that he is in good spirits and recovering, however the campaigning events will remain on hold until further notice as Bernie Sanders recovers.
