Craft Beer Company Offers 'Parental' Leave After Adopting a Puppy

Oh, how I would love to work for this dog-loving place!

A Scottish craft beer company has begun a new policy giving employees a paid week off after they adopt a puppy to get the new addition settled in. BrewDog calls it Puppy Parental Leave, and co-founder James Watt explained: "It's not easy trying to juggle work and settle a new dog into your life, and many members of our crew have four-legged friends at home. So, we wanted to take the stress out of the situation and let our teams take the time they need to welcome their new puppy or dog into their family. . . . We also just really, really like dogs."

BrewDog is also letting employees bring their dogs with them when they go back to work, and there are some 50 dogs that are now "regulars" in the company's main office. (Elite Daily)

PS:  The puppy pic you saw on my blog page or facebook to promote this story is of my late dog Bailey in 1995. :-)
