The book below is the updated version of the one I have and mention in the audio above.  The first edition is called "The First Directorate:  My 32 in Intelligence and Espionage Against the West, copyright 1994.

Kalugin told us that the updated version, SPYMASTER:  My Thirty-two Years in Intelligence and Espionage Against the West, includes names of people he hadn't previously revealed.

All of this talk about the Russians and the Cold War has put this old song back into my head.  It's Sting's Russians from his 1985 debut solo album The Dream of the Blue Turtles.  My twin sister and I had the album cassette and listened to the song a lot.  If you've never heard Sting's Russians, or it's just been a while, then CLICK PLAY TO LISTEN!
