'WEREWOLF CAT' RECOGNIZED BY INTERNATIONAL CAT ASSOCIATION

posted by Laura Anderson -

The International Cat Association announced Wednesday (January 10th) that it has recognized the Lykoi cat, which is also known as the "werewolf cat" because of its black and golden-rimmed eyes and black and slightly gray sparse coat on a lean body, according to Fox News.

The Lykoi breed -- which means "wolf cat" in Greek -- was founded in 2011, when breeders discovered them as the product of natural mutation in a domestic shorthair feline that developed more than 20 years ago.

They are said to be very intelligent and good problem solvers.
