FIRST LADY SCREENS MOVIE ON KINDNESS FOR SIXTH-GRADERS AT WHITE HOUSE

First Lady Melania Trump invited sixth-graders from a new computer science charter school in Washington, D.C., to the White House yesterday (October 23rd) to watch a movie on kindness called Wonder as part of her anti-bullying campaign.

Trump told the students from the Digital Pioneers Academy, "As you know, October is National Bullying Prevention Month. I encourage everybody to be kind to each other -- treat each other with respect in everyday life and on social media."

 

FLASHBACK!  I talked with actor Daveed Diggs, who played teacher Mr. Browne in the movie adaptation of "Wonder".  The questions I asked of the Hamilton star were from a group of 5th-graders.
