The City of Savannah will hold a Media Conference this evening at 6 p.m. at the Savannah Civic Center to address safety measures/preparations ahead of the anticipated arrival of Hurricane Dorian.
The City will touch upon our ongoing Emergency Management planning, Public Safety, details from our Sanitation department and other pertinent information. Media should plan to gather on the east side of the Civic Center at the bottom of the steps leading to the lower balcony. If it’s raining we will move the conference just inside to the open concourse.
