Chatham County Remains Open and Providing Services to the Community

Chatham County is continuing to operate as usual, providing its normal services to the community. Chatham County leadership and Chatham County Emergency Management Agency (CEMA) are monitoring the situation and consulting regularly with the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) for guidance on Coronavirus (COVID-19) response.

In response to Gov. Brian Kemp’s declared State of Emergency, Chatham County has essential personnel monitoring the Coronavirus outbreak. Personnel continue to participate in conference calls and planning with DPH and its critical partners.

Chatham County buildings will remain open to serve the public. The maintenance staff have increased sanitation efforts in to lessen the possibility of spread of disease.
