The City of Savannah has created a Confederate Memorial Task Force to draft recommendations for City leadership concerning the future of Savannah’s Confederate Memorial, located in Forsyth Park. As part of that process, the Task Force is seeking public input from Savannah's citizens. The City of Savannah will be accepting input from now through 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2017.
The public is encouraged to share their input through an online survey, by mail, or by email. The online survey is accessible athttp://www.savannahga.gov/confederatememorial and email can be sent to confederatememorial@savannahga.gov. Mailed comments should be sent to City of Savannah, Confederate Memorial Task Force, PO Box 1027, Savannah, GA 31402.
