Fortunately it's not against the law to be stupid but some folks abuse the privilege. Such is the case with State Representative Jason Spencer who has managed to get both national and international attention and embarrassed us BIG TIME. He appeared on the television show Who is America? is hosted by so-called comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, who gained fame as the popular character "Borat." How anybody would fall for this act as ridiculous as he looks in whatever type of makeup garb he has on is beyond my comprehension.
Nevertheless, Spencer fell for it and did a most ridiculous video performing all sorts of embarrassing acts under the guise of scaring terrorists. All this did was scare the rest of us that someone would be that stupid. But there was Jason--who was not reelected we're glad to report--state representative showing his behind both figuratively and literally.
Now that this has gone viral Spencer has seen the light and has announced he'll resign at the end of the month which fortunately is not far away. This was an embarrassment not only to Spencer who has realized the error of his ways but it embarrasses us all in an atmosphere where the media and Hollowierd always use southerners as the "stupid" and "close-minded" character. This sure as shootin' didn't help!
