The Amazing Kreskin would himself be amazed at what's happened in the tiny hamlet of Frankton, Indiana. Its police department has three--count 'em, THREE--police cruisers. About three years ago at the height of the Black Lives Matter movement that was allegedly to draw attention to law enforcement abuse of black citizens, the tiny Frankton Police Department put a decal on the rear quarter panel reading, "All Lives Matter." Anyone with an IQ higher than single digits would think this is a perfect slogan to put on police cars since it is the cops' sworn duty to protect us all. BUT NOOOOOO! Frankton citizen and little-known mindreader named Molly Hobbs knew that's not what it meant at all...she knew it was racist. The Frankton Police were MOCKING the BLM movement. HOW DARE THEY! So being the concerned citizen that she apparently is, she got a petition started through the BLM support mechanism www.change.org and got herself a petition started. How dare the Frankton Police want to protect all lives when she knows only black lives matter! White people, exercising their privilege, are never harassed by police officers and are never killed by one--everybody knows that! And justice has prevailed in Frankton...the city caved like the proverbial cheap mattress and the decals have been removed for all three police vehicles--THANK GOD this racist injustice has been eradicated!!! You should sleep better tonight and from here on because Molly Hobbs was on it! Racism in that tiny farming town in Madison County is OVER! Justice has been served!
Funny thing though the Black Lives Matter movement began like Al Sharpton's career-with a hoax. A highly-respected and decorated nine-year veteran Ferguson, Missouri police officer who had never drawn his gun in his career as far as we know, was accused or shooting and killing an unarmed black man who was shouting, "Hands up, don't shoot!" Here's another funny thing, Once that investigation and most of the evidence and investigations elsewhere have been completed, the so-called abuses came when these "victims" resisted arrest. There's a good chance that most would still be alive and well had they cooperated and had their day in court. Some very brave black citizens in Ferguson testified before a grand jury that the "perp" did not have his hands up, it was going for the officer's gun. the perp was about twice the officer's size and--by the way--had a criminal record as long as your arm nor was he shouting, "Hands up, don't shoot." But let's not let the facts stand in the way of the media's "good" story. If a cop is wrong--and that's quite rare--then punishment is usually carried out like the case just up the road in North Charleston when a North Charleston Police officer shot and killed an unarmed black man who was running away. As wrong as it was, chances are had that man not resisted arrest and run the officer would probably have never even drawn his weapon. We'll never know, of course but said officer is now behind bars and will be for years to come.
What's amazing to me is how many people in this town and the digbats who signed this stupid petition seem to think that All Lives Matter is some sort of (favorite phase of the left these days) a "dog whistle." They "think" it is demeaning to the Black Lives Matter mob that goes around holding illegal marches down major highways and interstates with disgusting signs and slogans like, "Pigs in a blanket, fry 'em like bacon." ;A-K-A, kill police officers. One doesn't need any mind-reading skills to figure that one out. It's worked too. Police are now being targeted for assassination including five officers who were killed and nine more injured in Dallas by a sniper...officers who were--ironically enough--working for the safety of a BLM-type march organized by the Next Generation Action Network that claims they're all about this mythical "social justice" nonsense! Said assassin said he "...wanted to kill white people, especially white police officers." Several of the marchers were actually saved by the very police they were protesting against. Apparently black lives only matter to the BLM crowd when someone of color is killed by a police officer. When 21 black citizens are shot by other blacks in Chicago and several of those die, almost 5,000 when Barack was President, you don't hear a peep out of 'em.
So Molly--you and your confederates lead on, if you think you've made the world a safer place as we say here in the sunny South, "Bless your heart." If someone(s), God forbid, break into your house call Black Lives Matter and see how that works for you.
