Heartwarming Sportsmanship

It's unusual when an opponent helps another player to their feet in football or any other sport. It used to be a common practice and a show of good sportsmanship but rare anymore. But just when you think it's a thing of the past along come Gage Smith of Sherman High School in Sherman, Texas and Ty Jordan of West Mesquite High. The two knew each other through other events they'd shared and social media so Gage was aware that Ty's mother had stage-4 cancer. So after the two teams played each other a few days back Gage greeted his friend Ty and they knelt down to pray together for Ty's mom. The picture immediately went viral and the two made it to Fox News with Martha McCallum's show The Story as well. Very touching and Gage showing a maturity far beyond his years. So check it out here.
