City launches Spanish translation services for 311 calls

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The City of Savannah is launching a Spanish translation service through the 311 help line.

The 311 help line is for residents and visitors to request services from the city and to receive important information regarding government operations. The new option through LanguageLine Solutions allows for Spanish speakers to have their service requests translated to a City Customer Service Representative.

Callers can select option two from the main menu to be connected to an interpreter.

This help line is not for emergencies, only city matters the city said.

Residents and visitors can call 311or 912-651-6565 to submit a request for city services. Calls are answered by a 311 Customer Service Representative Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Additionally, you can to submit requests online at savannahga.gov by selecting "311 Submit a Request" or by downloading the SAV311 Mobile App.
